WHO ARE WE
We from An Owner's Purpose have a big heart for animals. It saddens us to see so many animals get cast aside every year. Far too often this is due to a poor understanding of the serious responsibility that owning a pet poses. So, we want to raise awareness of what it means to take care of an animal. We aim to inform people of the duties that come with accepting a pet into your home.
OUR DRIVE
Over 10.000 animals (in the Netherlands) and over 6.5 million animals (in the United States) are located in animal shelters. The majority of European animal shelters have a no kill-policy, however, for most non-EU animal shelters this isn't the case. Especially in the United States, where approximately 1.5 million animals get euthanised. These numbers need to go down!
